Pregnant women coming to Teso Safe Motherhood Project in Northern Uganda are commonly malnourished and ill. At certain times of the year, for instance, up to 75% of the patients we see are sick with malaria! IMA currently tests women for malaria and AIDS, provides a mosquito net to each prenatal patient and provides them with several nutritional supplements and vitamins. Your gift of $15 could provide folic acid and iron supplements, anti malarial medication, soya and beans and rice, and a mosquito net. Help ensure fewer complications and better health for both mother and baby!
