BOOK CLUB
Do you belong to a book club? Are you thinking about forming a club with your friends? Use your meeting as a chance to get involved in a meaningful cause and make a difference in the world while reading stimulating material. Choose one of the recommended books below for your club and then use your discussion session as a chance to learn about IMA and raise funds to help save women's and children's lives!
HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose a book.
2. Decide as a group to raise funds to help women and children in Uganda. (There is no required amount to be raised.)
3. Email IMA (jbmidwife@midwifeassist.org or jharger@midwifeassist.org) about your group's intentions to read one of our books and raise funds for IMA. Please let us know the following:
- Which book did you choose?
- When are you discussing the book? (Please give us advance notice - at least two weeks.)
- How many members are in your group?
- A contact person's name, email and mailing address
4. We will mail an information packet about IMA to your contact person for use at your discussion meeting.
5. As a thank you for raising funds for IMA, we will mail each member of your book club one of our free IMA bookmarks! Whether you mail your donation or make it Online, be sure to indicate it was your bookclub that is making the donation and again let us know the number of members.
BONUS: If you are in the Denver/Boulder area, Executive Director Jennifer Braun or Board Member Dr. Claudia Wyrick will be happy to come speak to your book club at your meeting!
Thanks for participating!
