Are you expecting a baby? Is this your first child, or perhaps a second or third child? Along with your baby items, why not request donations to IMA in honor of your new baby?
Baby-to-Baby Giving
Whether it's a baby shower or a welcome-to-the-world party, even the smallest family member can have a huge impact. Request donations to IMA in honor of your baby, and your child could be responsible for saving a baby's life in Uganda. What a wonderful birthday present!
HOW IT WORKS
1. Print these cards to cut and include in your invitations (6 per page).
2. Email us at jbmidwife@midwifeassist.org or jharger@midwifeassist.org to tell us about your intentions. Please include the following information: Your name and mailing address, your baby's name (or the reference you'd like included on his or her certificate - for example, Baby Smith or Colin Smith), your baby's due date, and the date of your party.
3. Collect donations in honor of your baby. (Make sure your friends and family give you and your baby credit for their donations either in the memo line of their checks or the comment box for Online donations. That way we'll know which donations to credit to your baby.)
4. Receive keepsakes for your new baby. We'll wait a few weeks after your party to ensure all donations have come in for your baby. Then we'll send a certificate and, for donors who raise $250 or more, an IMA onesie. After your baby's due date, if you raised $500 or more, we'll also send your personalized birth story!
KEEPSAKES
As a thank you for donating to IMA, your baby may receive the following gifts:
1. All donors, regardless of amount raised, will get a frameable certificate made out to your baby detailing the total amount of donations raised in his or her honor.
2. At the level of $250, your baby will receive the certificate and a onesie with IMA's logo.
3. If your baby raises $500 or more, he or she will receive the certificate and onesie and a personalized birth story from a baby in Uganda who is born the same month your child is due!
